THE STORY
It’s the year 2055. The lunar community is thriving, thanks in part to the LunaAqua research base at the moon’s south pole.
Last month, a massive asteroid hit the moon and destroyed everything in its path, including critical machinery and crew.A mysterious blue light now emits from the impact zone, and has created an electrical blackout in the immediate vicinity.
We have observed that this radius is growing. It now threatens all life on the moon. Brave Mission Specialists have been called in to investigate the region and help to solve the mystery of The Lunar Light.
Meet the LunaAqua Crew
Aster -Intergalactic Security Agent
Aster has been calling the moon his home for the last three years. Imagine the most adorably awkward person you know, then place them in a spacesuit—that's Aster for you. He's the kind who takes "It's raining cats and dogs" as a weather forecast involving actual pets. Social cues might not be his forte, but let me tell you, his heart is as big as the Sea of Tranquility.
When you arrive, Aster will be there to check you in. It might not be your usual smooth reception—expect to take things a bit more literally than you're used to. But he's all about making sure you're ready and raring to go for your lunar adventure. Trust me, with Aster, you’re in for a mission briefing filled with earnestness, a dash of literal interpretations, and a whole lot of lunar gossip. He's your first step to a successful moon mission!
General Jackson -
The Legend
Meet the resident bad boy of New England, turned space outlaw. The big shots upstairs have gently nudged him to take his antics back to Earth, but he's spending his final days on the LunaAqua base making sure Mission Specialists like you are geared up and clued in for your big adventure. Between us, he's pretty sure the higher-ups are bluffing—after all, he's something of a legend around here.
Yes, he's got that cocky swagger and a knack for getting under people's skin, but he's become an integral part of the LunaAqua research base's charm. And then there's his ongoing spat with DG33—oh, he won’t shy away from telling anyone and everyone about it. Love him or loathe him, he makes the mission prep unforgettable. By the way, did he mentinon he was a legend?
Stella
Astrophysicist
Stella's journey to the LunaAqua research base kicked off backin her college days, thanks to some groundbreaking discoveries she stumbled upon. She's the brainy type, the kind who solves complex equations for fun. DG33, or Deej as she fondly calls him, isn't just her mentor; he's her partner in the lab!
She's on a mission to unravel the mysteries lurking in theimpact zone, itching to get back to groundbreaking discoveries with Deej. And let's not forget about GenJack—try as he might, Stella's always giving him the polite brush-off. But what really gets her gears turning? The arrival of Mission Specialists. Stella's all in, eager to dive into the collected element and get back to work.
Landon
Equipment Specialist
Meet Landon, your go-to Equipement Specialist with a tech wizard's touch. After moving to the LunaAqua research base with his dad, Landon quickly discovered his knack for all things tech. Fast forward five years, and he's the linchpin in mission control, crucial for the success of every LunaAqua mission.
Landon's will stay connected with General Jackson via radio throughout your mission. He's got a soft spot for working with GenJack, although he frequently finds himself in the position of having to remind him that the suits they wear are standard issue—not the "GenJack Packs" GenJack envisions.
Amid the unpredictable terrain of the moon, Landon serves as your guiding voice, ensuring everything proceeds as planned.
DG-33 (AKA DEEJ)
Robot
DG-33 is one of the moon exploration DG rover bots that set up habitats for the crew and their equipment before getting to work on their primary job of ice detection.
Brought up in the Texas oil fields, Deej kept his accent after switching to H2O discovery. He’s a bit snarky, but endlessly faithful and strong willed.
