• Meet the Cast

Contrary to popular belief, the Luna Aqua crew doesn’t actually live on the moon. When they’re not saving lunar colonies, they’re busy galavanting around Hollywood — booking roles, landing gigs, and building out-of-this-world careers back on Earth.

    Derek Stusynski

    Aster

Derek grew up on a farm in Karlstad, MN, where he discovered his love for acting on stage playing a variety of roles from Peter Pan to the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz.” He moved to New York after high school to study at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Since graduating, Derek has acted in a number of projects between NY and LA, from award-winning shorts "Path to Prologue” and “Eden” to ID’s “Blood Relatives” and “Unusual Suspects.” He even won an episode of ABC’s hit game show “Wipeout.”

Beyond the screen, Derek graduated from UCB and loves flexing his improv muscles. His team "Thoughts and Prayers" won 14 consecutive weeks at The Deathmatch show. He’s also a producer on the “Nice Girls Don’t Win” podcast and “Rob Has a Podcast.”

Writing is another passion of Derek's, which started with the first book he wrote at age 12. He hopes to turn that book into a fantasy series one day. He also wrote and produced a dark comedy series called "The Walking Tedd” and is currently in pre-production for his first horror short, “Snatched.”

    Adam Kitchen

    General Jackson

Adam is a semi-professional actor. Sometimes. You may have seen him in that one vitamin commercial. But chances are you haven't. When he booked the commercial, his mom said he was going to be a star. His dad said, "You're an actor? Oh, that's cool. I guess."

    Adam is divorced.

Adam enjoys eating food, and has great calf muscles. He also currently lives on a boat. He says the boat is a symbol for his fun and adventurous spiriteven though it mostly just stays parked in the dock. But that's OK.

    Thanks.

    Danielle Dallas Roosa

    Janitor Jan

Danielle is the CEO & Founder of The Lunar Light: Discovery. When a mission specialist once asked her what she does at the Luna Aqua Research Base, Danielle laughed and said, “I’m the janitor”—a title that quickly became a character role in the show itself. Danielle created the immersive space-themed experience from the ground up and jumps in as a performer and all-hands-on-deck problem solver to keep the moonbase running.

A lifelong space nerd and granddaughter of an Apollo 14 astronaut, Danielle brings a unique blend of science and storytelling to her work. She's also an award-winning actor and screenwriter who has sold comedy feature films and is currently developing her next project: a space comedy that she’ll star in.

When she’s not building moons in parking lots or directing VR-powered narratives, she’s writing scripts, auditioning, chasing laughs, and reminding people that space can be both meaningful and totally ridiculous.
